"Perfect forestock that I was looking for to restore my 1908 lee Enfield LSA No1 Mk III. Will be buying more pieces from them in the future to restore other projects. Very well packaged, and expedited shipping all for free, excellent from my fellow Canadian. "

"Absolutely beautiful in every respect. The high quality walnut is left slightly over-sized to allow for precise fitting. The pieces were carefully wrapped and boxed and mailed quickly. I hope they will continue to make and sell these."

It’s great someone still makes stocks for these old rifles . Took a lot of work to fit up , but satisfied when done . I would prefer if tolerances weren’t quite so tight . Finished with boiled linseed oil , like the colour , looks good . Have since fired 14 rounds , everything still nice and tight .
Its nice to have these available. It will be a while before I have an opportunity to do the final fitting and install the stock. The stock is made from a nice piece of walnut, and appears to be meticulously constructed by an accomplished craftsman. I don't anticipate any issues.
When the US Postal Service lost my Enfield forestock for over a month, Prestige sent me a replacement at no charge. This is old school customer service not often encountered these days. If you are buying rifle stocks, this is the first place to go for customer service and best quality products.
Sand it, stain it..make it what you want! It’s of superb quality! I love it!
Good work and beautiful wood thank you It'll complete my great grandpa's 1899 krag.
Nice walnut, made with just the right dimensions to fit properly, with of course a bit of extra wood for tight fitting.
I understand that work is needed before final job, I accepted that before ordering.
Thanks PWS for the great help in my enfield project.
Excellent Product - Great Dimensions
Every thing was great. Fine workmanship
Lee Enfield No.5 Jungle Carbine Upper Wood
While I am still I the process of inletting my stock to the rifle (for the first time) it has gone great! The shipping was fast as could be and what I got was great quality.
I was pretty hesitant to spend this kind of money but it turns out it was completely worth it to restore my project.
Minimal fitting required. We'll satisfied.
As advised, there is a small amount of material to be removed from the internal dimensions, but I was surprised at the accuracy of the machining. The raw wood is prone to picking up grease, even from light handling, so give all parts a good drink of shaftol or BLO. The butstock became darker than the forend and handguard after one coat, but material will need to be removed externally, where the butt and forend meet the wrist, so you'll be doing some light sanding anyway.
I chose this set as there are many good No 4's out there that have had the muzzles chopped, but with this set you can still create a good clone, albeit in .303.
Still working on the restoration. Minimal Wood working required for completion.
